5 Nesessities For Men's Antiaging Skin Care
By: Kathleen P. Walsh - September 2008
Traditionally, when we hear talk about skincare and wrinkle creams and any related topics, our thoughts drift to
middle-aged women entering a phase of life characterized by relentless attempts to recapture their youth.
They seem to best fit the profile that we associate with consumers of this industry. Put mildly, this is a
narrow-minded and archaic way of thinking. We don’t think about men’s skincare. Well, men are no less susceptible
to the aging process, and as a race, should be no less concerned with their health and their looks!
Attention: Guys - your skin needs a little TLC, too! The need for men’s skincare is one that should not be ignored.
The best thing to do is start taking care of your skin when you are young, so you don’t have to regret not doing it
later on. But it’s never too late to start. Consider some of the following types of products to keep you looking
and feeling healthy - every decade of life!
Deep active cleansing mask. These are usually applied about every two weeks, perhaps alternately with a hydrating
mask, and are a great way to remove all the toxins from your skin. The best main ingredient for a cleansing mask is
Kaolin™, an extract from a New Zealand clay, absorbing oils and healing skin blemishes.
Also look for those containing macadamia oil and shea butter, which are both natural ingredients that protect and
moisturize the skin, respectively. A must for men anti-aging skin care!

Deep active hydrating mask. This complements the cleansing mask. Such a mask is rich in plant oils, herbal
antioxidants, and fatty acids. The main ingredient should be Rigin™, the patented name for Palmitoyl
Tetrapeptide-3, which mimics DHEA in the skin by restoring cytokine equilibrium.
Translation? Protection against free radical and UV damage, inflammation suppression, and restoration of the skin’s
youthful appearance. Another must for men anti-aging skincare!
Eye wrinkle gel. Just because you’re a man, doesn’t mean you have to suffer through your aging years with crow’s
feet and saggy bags under your eyes!
Want “in” on a little Hollywood secret? It’s called Eyeliss - a very expensive European ingredient that the stars
have been using for quite some time. This, combined with Haloxyl has been proven to show drastic improvement in
skin appearance around the eyes.
Age-defense facial fluid. Keeping in mind the differences between women’s and men’s skincare, you guys will want to
find a product specifically formulated for men to reduce inflammation and age spots, as well as roughness caused by
environmental pollutants.
This ability will be found in products containing CynergyTK™ which inhibits ProstoglandinE2, the cause of
inflammation -along with antioxidants.
Body lotion. Body lotion? For a GUY?? Why, yes! It is safe to apply all over your body, and help the driest patches
of skin such as elbows, knees, and heels restore their natural moisture.
If you seek a men’s skincare lotion that will promote healing and improve the health of your skin, look for a
product with organic ingredients that address the three main causes of wrinkles: loss of collagen, decreased
hyaluronic acid, and oxidation though exposure to free radicals.
Is that an earful or what! Well, hopefully I have shed some light on the subject and you are now sufficiently
knowledgeable to find the right men’s skincare products.
Remember - it’s women and men alike on this skincare thing!
The key to enjoying vibrant youthful health and slowing down the aging process is to initiate a program that will
